Join Vicky at Cromford Mill for a fabulous morning turning clay into solid silver.  Sunday 21st June 2026 2pm – 5pm.  Whether you’re a complete beginner or a curious maker, this session is designed to be welcoming, inspiring, and full of sparkle.  You’ll come away with a beautiful pendant / earrings / bracelet (chains etc included in price) you’ve created yourself, details with the shape and textures of real shells.  Perfect for your summer holidays.

Only 8 places are available at this Silver Shell workshop.  Vicky will provide you with all the tools and safety equipment and expert guidance.  You will learn about silver clay, its composition, how to use it to design and create your jewellery.  Using your choice of shells (provided) you will create moulds and use them to make your shell jewellery.  Once dried you will then refine your pieces and fire it with a hand torch (under Vicky’s careful supervision) and polish your piece to a shine.  You will leave with your polished solid silver jewellery hung on a chain or with ear wires/studs in an organza bag and free polishing cloth.
