Taking time out to focus on the world around us, examining the beauty of nature on our doorstep provides a mindfulness step in a busy day.  Silver Snail Jewellery was founded on this principle.  Creator Vicky Barclay first started exploring using Silver Clay in 2022 when looking for a hobby to balance the work / life scales.  Instinctively turning to her garden for inspiration, Vicky infuses her love of nature into her designs, creating unique pieces that speak to people on a personal level.

In line with Vicky’s passion for nature and wildlife, Silver Snail Jewellery uses 100% recycled silver where possible in both the silver clay and sterling silver findings.  Silver clay contains recycled silver and after the design stage, the piece is hand-fired and refined.  Lab grown gems, often indistinguishable from gems found in the ground are Vicky’s preferred material to add sparkle.  However, some stones are meant to be unearthed and seen, by doing due diligence on supplies, Vicky ensures her work is ethically sourced.
